Savvy Giving 4th Annual Golf Tournament
Our 4th annual golf tournament with Painters on Demand kicked off this year and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out! With the help of our golfing friends and donors we raised funds to support our next Savvy Giving room makeover.
For this room makeover, we are supporting Alex, an adorable 5 year old who was diagnosed with Leukemia when he was just 16 months old.
For the past 3 and half years he has endured treatments, chemo, and too many hospital visits. The family was hoping to move on, cancer free, allowing Alex to have a normal childhood after treatment last year. Then they were shocked with terrible news. His cancer was back and the treatments would need to begin once again. His family then made the decision to move to Tampa to be closer to additional family and the hospital they had come to know. Alex has two older brothers, Teddy (7) and Sam (9) who adore and support him in so many ways.
We are so excited to give Alex and his family and fresh update to their home where they can relax and spend time together when they’re not in the hospital.
